(Intelligencer Journal (Lancaster, PA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) EAST LAMPETER TWP.: An office was ransacked and a laptop computer, digital camera, cash and a GPS unit were stolen between Saturday and Monday from Swing Kingdom, 36 Glenbrook Road. A GPS unit also was taken from a company truck outside.



NEW HOLLAND: Police are investigating an attempted burglary that occurred between Friday and Monday at an apartment in the 300 block of East Jackson Street. Pry marks were found on the door and the screen doors were open. No entry was gained and nothing was taken.

EAST LAMPETER TWP.: A Samsung tablet and two bracelets were stolen from a room between 2 and 10:30 p.m. Friday at the Continental Inn, 2285 Lincoln Highway East. Loss is $800.


LANCASTER: An Apple Macbook Pro and a Samsung camera were taken overnight Thursday from a locked office in the 600 block of College Avenue. Loss is $1,675.

BRECKNOCK TWP.: Brendan A. Weaver, 24, of Narvon, was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and theft after an incident Monday morning at Sunoco, 1155 Reading Road. State police said Weaver broke into the store by smashing the door with a brick. Once inside, he consumed two bottles of cough medicine, then fled the store. He returned three hours later and confessed.

CONOY TWP.: Chuck Lee Gainer, 50, of 263 S. Second St., Bainbridge, was charged Monday after he almost struck a police vehicle and was stopped at Race Street and Pine Alley on Sept. 24.

CONOY TWP.: Carolyn A. Schaeffer, 32, of 120 Poplar Lane, Elizabethtown, was charged Monday in a vehicle accident in the 2500 block of Bainbridge Road on Aug. 15.

LANCASTER: Daniela Guzman, 20, no address provided, was charged with criminal mischief and harassment after she broke a window Saturday in the first block of South Ann Street.

LANCASTER: Codey L. Robinson, 19, no address provided, was charged after he struck a person Friday in the 600 block of Rockland Street.

WEST COCALICO TWP.: Donald R. Sell, 60, Denver, will be charged in a disturbance in the 400 block of Blue Lake Road Thursday, police said.

LANCASTER: Police investigated a report of shots fired in the 700 block of East End Avenue Monday and found one shell casing, numerous paint balls and a plastic lid in a walkway. They have no suspects.

LANCASTER: Police responding to the 300 block of Ice Avenue Friday discovered a Toyota Camry was damaged by gunfire.

FULTON TWP.: Frederick A. Adams, 49, of Peach Bottom, was charged after an incident Saturday in the 100 block of Arcadia Trace Road.

LANCASTER: Paul Bowman, 33, of the 400 block of West Frederick Street, was arrested and charged with taking three circuit breakers from a display and four packs of rechargeable batteries, together valued at $206.91, from a store at 1700 Fruitville Pike Monday.

MARIETTA: Brent Oliver Shoff, 32, of 854 Pleasure Road, entered a prohibited property in the 600 block of West Market Street Aug. 26 and took kerosene heaters and car parts. He was charged Monday with theft and trespassing.

LANCASTER: Victor Velez, 31, of the 500 block of East Chestnut Street, took $492 worth of men's fragrances at a Park City Center store Monday.

EAST COCALICO TWP.: A Yamaha 4-wheeler and a YZ dirt bike, together valued at $2,000, were reported stolen from a property in the 200 block of Bon View Drive Friday.

LANCASTER: Heather R. Craig, 34, of the first block of Leesburge Drive, Willow Street, was charged with the theft of $52 worth of items Friday at Park City Center.

LANCASTER: No one was injured in a two-car crash at College and Columbia avenues around 3 a.m. Tuesday. One car ended up on its side.
