Dustin Grosse Named Chief Operating Officer at ClearSlide

ClearSlide, the leading sales engagement platform, today announced Dustin Grosse as Chief Operating Officer. In this new role, Grosse is responsible for aligning all ClearSlide customer-facing functions and ensuring operational excellence across these teams.

The expansion of ClearSlide's executive team comes on the heels of continued fast-paced growth. The company has more than doubled its customer base and revenue year-over-year. Additionally, ClearSlide has raised $50M in a round led by The Social+Capital Partnership which included participation from all existing investors - including Greylock Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners. It also recently added Comcast and Clearhannel to its growing roster of clients like LinkedIn, Seamless, Thomson Reuters (News - Alert) and hundreds of others.

Grosse brings strong general management expertise to ClearSlide. Most recently, he served as SVP and Chief Marketing Officer of DocuSign, Inc. where he built the company's initial marketing, BD, industry, and e-commerce teams. Grosse helped expand DocuSign's position from eSignature leader to the global standard for Digital Transaction Management in less than four years.


Prior to that, Grosse spent eight years with Microsoft (News - Alert), initially helping start Microsoft's Unified Communications Group as it GM of Sales and Marketing before becoming GM of Microsoft Field (SMSG) Readiness. He joined Microsoft in 2003 through its acquisition of SaaS pioneer PlaceWare web-conferencing.

Grosse has held other executive sales, marketing, and business development roles with venture-backed and publicly traded technology companies including Covad (News - Alert) Communications, Voxeo, and OnFiber; and previously led sales, marketing, and strategy engagements with McKinsey & Company. He gained valuable experience working in brand management at Procter & Gamble. Grosse earned his MBA from Yale and holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of California.
