Updated Food Recall Warning (Allergen): Gelato Fino Brand Tartufo Products Recalled Due to Undeclared Almonds and Wheat


(Marketwire (Canada) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 1, 2014) - The food recall warning issued on September 26, 2014, has been updated to include additional distribution information. This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) food safety investigation.



Rich Products of Canada Ltd. is recalling Gelato fino brand Tartufo products from the marketplace because they may contain almonds and wheat which are not declared on the label. People with an allergy to almonds or wheat should not consume the recalled products described below.

The following products have been sold in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec and may have been distributed in other provinces.

Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
