Arena Bilgisayar signs distributor deal with Chinese Huawei. [IntelliNews - Weekly Reports](IntelliNews - Weekly Reports Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Turkish computer components and electronics wholesale distributor Arena Bilgisayar informed in a filing with the Bourse Istanbul (BIST) that it signed a distributor agreement with China-based Huawei to distribute the latters' server, storage and network products in Turkey. Arena expects to collect revenues less than 1% of its total turnover (USD 5mn) from the sales of Huawei products in the first year, the statement detailed. Huawei reported a revenue of USD 40bn last year and is active in 140 countries, according to the statement. Arena Bilgisayar increased its consolidated turnover by 20% y/y to TRY 563mn in H1 while its consolidated net income increased by 41% y/y to TRY 9mn.
