Cyclists say bonjour to Paris feat ; BEN'S DEN: Team cycle from London to Paris [Derby Evening Telegraph (England)]

(Derby Evening Telegraph (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Six cyclists from a design and marketing agency rode from London to Paris to raise money for an Ilkeston charity. The team from Adtrak are raising funds for Ben's Den, which supports children fighting cancer and leukaemia. Made up of managing director Chris Robinson, Chris Rutter, Jenny Hackett, Rachel Briggs, Tom Nightingale and Liam Towndrow, the team from Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire cycled nearly 300 miles over three days. Chris Rutter, paid marketing manager at Adtrak, said: "As a firm, we have taken part in quite a few rides previously, but no-one has ever attempted the London to Paris route before. We try to go out together after work at least once a week, and arrange big rides at the weekend as a team, as well as a lot of personal training." Ben's Den was set up in 2004 in memory of Ben Parker, who passed away aged just 13. It provides free holidays to families with children battling cancer, giving them the chance to recuperate and create happy memories at a distressing time. The team are still accepting donations, so to sponsor the Adtrak team, log on to http:// uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/adtrak.
