"We were struck by the fact that there are no existing Smartphones developed within Bahrain and Middle East so we took it upon ourselves. Doing something that has never been done before presented its fair share of challenges. The challenges we faced were suppliers and funding. The MoreTech Phone took around seven months to finalize the design. This was because a switch of different components used in it and also exterior looks as well," said MoreTech founding member Baland Rabayah.

"The edition currently available with us is built in China, but in a couple of months or less than a year we have everything done in Bahrain," said one of its founders.

MoreTech founders are, Baland Rabayah, Sarrie Rabayah, Saif Kanoo, and Karim Abukhadra.

They say, "Our smartphone differentiates from other Android smartphones as it has great performance and quality, also the customer service and warranty we offer is more attractive compared to the international competition. Our product beats the competition in terms of battery life, as the battery can last for 10-14 hours even with all background tasks like social-media applications running." The founders are eloquent about their plans for their Smart Phone's future, "Our future plans are to build the best Smartphone in 2015. Currently with the designs we are putting forward, not only would it have a great price for what you get, but also it will be the most advance Smartphone available in the market. The technology breakthrough will be with the phone itself, with the technology that goes in. It will have the largest amount of internal storage, and also the longest lasting battery life available by next year. Another plan we have is to bring out earphones, which are coming out really soon." The team is currently backed by many investors, who wish to remain anonymous and also they refused to reveal details about the current investment size.

On being asked about outside investments or government help, the founders said, "As of now we are not looking for potential investors as we have more than enough for the business. We aren't looking for government help, however if they do decide to help us, this would be great and we would accept the help."
