Correlsense Introduces SharePath 3.6 [Professional Services Close - Up]

According to a release, the new version includes a variety of enhancements designed to broaden its footprint in the enterprise by monitoring more applications, across heterogeneous systems, in both Web and SOA (service-oriented architecture) environments.



Correlsense noted the new release includes key features designed for enterprise IT customers: -Vertical scaling - the ability to execute on larger multiprocessor systems -Horizontal scaling - the ability to execute on multiple servers in a clustered environment -Server performance - 100 percent increase in events monitored per second -Centralized agent management - manage, control, and troubleshoot hundreds of agents and monitored hosts from a central console -SOA support - now monitors TIBCO environments in addition to IBM IIB -Distributed transaction processing - adds support for Oracle Tuxedo Correlsense software is designed for enterprise environments where there are multiple server platforms, programming languages, mission-critical applications, middleware products, and a variety of user devices. SharePath monitors each hop of every transaction for standalone, SOA, and Web-based applications. A single SharePath customer may use thousands of collectors to monitor multiple operational applications and over a billion events per day.

Enterprise applications are often composite systems spanning new, legacy, and commercial software. Employees and customers may access these applications from browsers, mobile devices, rich clients, or Citrix. A single user transaction may touch dozens of servers and applications inside the company, at partner sites, and travel into the Cloud.
