United States : COM DEV INTERNATIONAL secures an Authorization to Proceed (ATP) contract [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A major manufacturer of space hardware subsystems, COM DEV International Ltd., has announced winning an Authorization to Proceed (ATP) contract. The contract is to deliver Multiplexer Equipment, Waveguide and Coaxial Switches, and Microwave Components for use on a high throughput communications satellite designed to provide direct-to-home premium television content to the Middle East and North Africa. $7.5 million is the total value of the initial contract with an expansion to the contract expected in the coming weeks to include additional equipment worth around $5.5 million. Under this contract, work will be executed at the Company's facility in Cambridge, Ontario with completion expected by August 2015.
