Molex Expands Its Range Of Harsh-Duty Products for Marine Applications

Incorporated will introduce several new products and showcase an
existing line at the International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and
Conference (IBEX) 2014, September 30 - October 2, Tampa, Florida booth
2135.
Leveraging its expertise at developing harsh-duty solutions for

Sealed Connection System: Achieves an IP68 rating with SAE J2030
and IP69K product validations underway. The solution provides drop-in
replacements for industry-standard connector systems used in critical
marine wiring applications.

Woodhead®
MAX-LOC® Plus Shielded Cord-Grip Assemblies: Featuring a
nickel-plated aluminum housing and shielding ring, the assemblies
provide superior electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio
frequency interference (RFI (News - Alert)) protection. They also meet IP67 and IP69K
ratings, making them ideal for high-frequency switched-mode power
supply (SMPS) applications in harsh marine environments.

3.0 Panel-Mount Receptacles and Overmolded Cordsets: Delivering 5
Gbps data speeds, 10 times faster than USB 2.0 devices, these products
are IP67-rated and feature rugged overmolded cordsets with integral
strain relief for robust pull-out resistance and faster installation
than field-wired designs.

2000* Cables and Connectors: A complete line of open standard
cables, cable assemblies, connectors, terminators and power products
that support the NMEA 2000 system, the industry standard for data
communications among shipboard electronic devices.

Industrial Ethernet Solutions, including its broad portfolio of
RJ-45 and M12 Ethernet products which feature bayonet style latching and
Brad Ultra-Lock® push-pull systems for quick and easy mating. The

while the M12 Cat 6a X-Code connector design ensures that transmission
