TELE Greenland selects Comverse's mVAS platform [TeleGeography CommsUpdate]


(TeleGeography CommsUpdate Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Greenland's incumbent telecoms operator TELE has selected US-based solutions provider Comverse to deploy its cloud-based fully-virtualised Multi-VAS (mVAS) Solution, which converges SMSC, MMSC and Next-Generation Voicemail (NGVM) systems. According to a joint press release, Comverse mVAS is engineered to operate in both IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and pre-IMS environments and is interoperable with all Rich Communication Services (RCS) and Voice-over-Long Term Evolution (VoLTE) standards for quick introduction of rich digital lifestyle services.
