Registration is open online.

For the industry leaders, the Executive Leadership Institute at PHA Forum 2014 is a space for discussion, networking and agenda setting, comprised as its own conference track focused on broader strategic issues geared towards health care executives.

"Last year, the Executive Leadership Institute attracted a great group of professionals in senior leadership positions among providers, payers, employers large and small and several other in the healthcare arena," said Fred Goldstein, PHA Executive Director. "In 2014, the lineup of speakers is top notch, and we expect a very spirited conversation." The Institute, sponsored by Alere, will encourage attendees to take a good look at what's happening and what needs to be done to shape the future so that the population health industry achieves the desired outcomes in the transformation and ultimate improvement of America's health and healthcare.

"The speakers will address some of the larger issues with which the industry is grappling as population health principles become a mainstay of payers, provider groups, government and communities. What's the outlook for the next 10, 20 years? Can we improve the health of populations at a community level? What does global outsourcing look like these days? What are the pressing research concerns?" said Goldstein.

Jerry Noyce, President & CEO, HERO; Kylanne Green, President & CEO, URAC; Brian Klepper, CEO, National Business Coalition on Health (NBCH); Tom Parry, President, Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI); and Sean Sullivan, President & CEO, Institute for Health and Productivity Management (IHPM) will be Looking Forward, to figure out how population health shapes the future of healthcare.

We will be Looking Around at three initiatives that are transforming the way community health is done: The Way to Wellville, with Esther Dyson, Founder, HICCup; the Clinton Health Matters Initiative, with its CEO, Rain Henderson, of the Clinton Foundation; and the Blue Zones Project, by Janet Calhoun, Senior Vice President Strategy, Innovations and Solutions, Healthways, Inc. The speakers will explore how population health principles can foster communities of health and the role of population health providers in advancing these initiatives.

As the world becomes more interconnected, many population health providers are looking to global sourcing for population health management services. We will be Looking Abroad to the value and pitfalls of global outsourcing by drawing on the expertise of Susan Mueller, Medical Director, Health Management Business Service, Accenture; Brian Christian, Health Management Managing Director, Accenture; and Jo Anne Anderson, Executive Vice President, Teleperformance Health Practice.
