Romania : TELEKOM ROMANIA COMMUNICATIONS selects ZENTERIO s software platform [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Telekom Romania Communications, which earlier was Romtelecom, has launched a new IPTV platform, with Zenterio s software platform Zenterio OS as a key component, starting as of October. With the selection of Zenterio s independent platform, Telekom Romania Communications (formerly Romtelecom) now joins Slovak Telekom and Magyar Telekom. Zenterio s operating system will be the base for Telekom Romania Communications effort to expand its IPTV service offerings beginning with the launch of a multi-screen service developed by Swedish Accedo. Telekom Romania s launch of a whole IPTV platform includes Zenterio s partner Viaccess-Orca, as a system integrator, Verimatrix, as a conditional access system provider, and Kaon, as the set-top-box manufacturer.
