France : FRENCH operator BOUYGYES TELECOM selects Verimatrix VCAS for Android hybrid STB [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) French operator Bouygues Telecom has announced selection of the Verimatrix s Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for Broadcast-Hybrid solution to protect its upcoming project Miami Android TV box client devices. According to information, VCAS for Broadcast-Hybrid is a cardless revenue security enabling better combinations of secure multicast linear video with advanced adaptive bitrate streaming on-demand and catch-up services. Additionally, it ensures harmonised rights management for subscribers at home and on the go. IPTV service of Bouygues Telecom is delivered to STBs, tablets, iPads and portable displays, allowing subscribers to seamlessly consume broadcast video, VOD and DVR content on additional screens anywhere in the home. Based on the Android OS, 'Project Miami' will deliver IPTV and Android applications on TV.
