OpenStack Summit Paris Schedule Launches with 326 Speakers, 200+ SessionsAUSTIN, Texas --(Business Wire)-- From more than 1,100 submissions, 326 speakers have been selected to present more than 200 sessions at the 10th OpenStack Summit, which will be held November 3-7, 2014, at the Palais de Congrès and the Le Meridien in Paris. The week-long event brings together users, developers, telco/service provider visionaries and enterprise CIOs to collaborate on the future of the largest open source software project in the cloud computing infrastructure industry. The official schedule for the Paris Summit is now online. About the Summit The Summit is a five-day conference for OpenStack contributors, enterprise users, service providers, application developers and ecosystem members. Attendees can expect visionary keynote speakers, in-depth breakout sessions, hands-on workshops, collaborative design sessions and lots of networking. Keynote sessions will take place Monday and Tuesday, and the main conference and expo will run Monday through Wednesdy. Developer working sessions to determine the roadmap for the next software release, expected in April 2015, will take place Tuesday through Friday. Europe Big Component of OpenStack Community Growth The upcoming Summit marks the first time the OpenStack Summit has been convened in Europe. The event is expected to draw thousands of participants from around the world. The most recent installment of the twice-annual Summit was held in May, in Atlanta, Georgia, and drew more than 4,500 users, developers and executives from major telcos and enterprises. The OpenStack community is global, and Europe is home to a strong user base and industry ecosystem.
