Last date for obtaining admission forms for Bachelors, Masters' Program, M. Phil, PhD fixed Sep 19(Daily Regional Times (Pakistan) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sindh University (SU) Director Admissions has fixed September 19, 2014 as last date for obtaining the admission forms for Bachelor's, Master's Degree programs & MS/ M. Phil and PhD for the academic batch 2015 at Sindh University Jamshoro. The University is offering admissions to 58 disciplines of Bachelors & Masters' degree programs and 50 departments of MS/ M. Phil & PhD. The admission forms can be obtained by September 19, 2014. According to a press statement issued here from Public Relations Section, the admissions to Bachelor & Master's degree program for the batch 2015 are open and the forms can be obtained from the designated branches of Habib Bank Limited from all over Sindh on payment of Rs. 1500/=. The last date for submission of admission forms is fixed September 26, 2014 and the pre-entry test for Master's degree program will be held on October 19 while for bachelor degree program on November 2, 2014. The pre-entry test for Bachelors & Masters' degree programs will be held at Allama I.I. Kazi campus Jamshoro and at all the campuses of university including Elsa Kazi Campus (Old Campus) Hyderabad, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Campus Dadu, SU Campus Larkana, SU Campus Badin, SU Campus Thatta, International University of Peace, Sufism & Modern Sciences Bhit Shah and SU Campus Mirpurkhas. The open house for the guidance of students and parents will be organized at September 8 to 10, 2014 at Allama I.I. Kazi Campus. On the other hand, SU Dean Graduate Studies announced the admission forms for MS/ MPhil & PhD for the academic session 2015 in different 50 departments were available which can be obtained from the designated branches of HBL situated at Elsa Kazi Campus Hyderabad & Allama I.I. Kazi Campus Jamshoro while Pre-Entry Test for admissions to MS/ MPhil & PhD will be conducted on October 19 (Sunday). The list of successful candidates will be displayed on December 23, 2014 whereas the classes for the new session will commence from January 5, 2015, the statement said. It may be noted that Sindh University is offering admissions to different 50 departments/ disciplines which include- Faculty of Arts: Department of Arabic, English Literature, Applied Linguistics, Sindhi & Urdu. Faculty of Social Sciences- Development Studies, Economics, Gender Studies, Media & Communication Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Pakistan Studies, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology and Social work. Faculty of Commerce & Business Administration: Commerce & Business administration. Faculty of Natural Sciences: Analytical Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Bio-informatics, Botany, Bio-technology, Chemical Sciences, Computer Science, Electronics, Environmental Sciences, Fresh Water Biology & Fisheries, Genetics, Geology, Information Technology, In-organic Chemistry, Mathematics, Micro-Biology, Nutrition & Food Technology, Organic Chemistry, Petroleum & Geo Sciences, Physiology, Physics, Physical Chemistry, Physical Education & Sports Sciences, Software Engineering, Statistics, Telecommunication and Zoology. Faculty of Pharmacy: Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology. Faculty of Education: Department of Education. Faculty of Islamic Studies: Islamic Culture and Muslim Studies. Furthermore, the statement added that the admission forms along with "Graduate Catalogue 2015" can be obtained from the designated branches of HBL Elsa Kazi Campus (Old Campus) Hyderabad and Allama I.I. Kazi Campus Jamshoro 0n the payment of Rs. 1500. The form can also be downloaded from the Website of Sindh University www.usindh.edu.pk which can later be submitted after depositing the challan of Rs. 1500 in the above-mentioned branches of the bank. |
