Provision of Telecommunications and support services [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Request For Proposal: Telecommunications and support services The City of Temple Terrace has 8 municipal buildings currently interconnected with a mix of T-1 and fiber, providing users with private VPN and MPLS which support client to server connectivity. Additionally, we have an in-house phone system that also utilizes these connections to support both digital and IP based phones. Each facility has their own independent connection to the internet. All services are currently supplied and supported by Windstream Communications. Our network currently supports a total of approximately 250 computer users. The City of Temple Terrace has its own police department, fire department, and 911 computer aided dispatch center. These public safety services are our highest priority and are active 24/7/365. The peak usage hours for our total network activity occurs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5.p.m. The City s existing telecommunications contract ends December 31, 2014. The City can enter into a new contract with a provider any time after January 1, 2015.
