United States : RICE COUNTY opts for ACCELA's IQM2 [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) With the Rice County Board of Commissioners set to start the transition to electronic-based meeting management software, stacks of Rice County meeting packets will soon become history. Kevin Schmidt, Rice County Information Technology director, introduced the new software presented its merits to the Rice County Board on Tuesday. After reviewing several software applications, Schmidt said they opted for Accela's IQM2 product. Among other features, the software incorporates electronic board packets, agenda creation, agenda workflow and video management. Noting that with the electronic format, all of the commissioners will receive an iPad or tablet, Schmidt, said : "This application will switch all of our agenda meeting notes to an electronic format."
