TAG Hosts Town Hall Meetings Around Georgia

(PRWEB) September 11, 2014 The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state's leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia's technology industry, will be hosting a series of Technology Town Hall meetings around the state over the next few months.



The Technology Town Hall serves as an informational forum about the critical issues and policies that are important to the emerging technology communities in Georgia. Attendees will be able to learn about legislative activities from the 2014 session, as well as preview initiatives for the upcoming 2015 Georgia General Assembly.

The scheduled Town Hall meetings are as follows:    •  Middle Georgia – September 11th 11:30 AM- 1:00 PM Central Georgia Technical College H-Building auditorium 3300 Macon Tech Dr Macon, GA 31206    •  Savannah – September 19th 11:30 AM- 1:00 PM Coastal Georgia Center 305 Fahm St Savannah, GA, 31401    •  Columbus – October 1st 11:30 AM- 1:00 PM Columbus Public Library 3000 Macon Rd Columbus, Georgia 31906    •  Augusta – October 8th 11:30 AM- 1:00 PM Old Augusta Chamber of Commerce 600 Broad Street Augusta, GA    •  Athens – October 14th 11:30 AM- 1:00 PM FourAthens 165 E Dougherty St.


Athens, GA 30601 Area business and government leaders, technologists and media are encouraged to attend the Town Hall in their area.
