According to Gartner, half of the enterprises surveyed in the firm s primary research studies intend to move to all BYOD for smartphones in 2017, creating new opportunities and challenges for business and IT leaders. Gartner also reports that mobile telecom spending will jump 16 percent from 2013 to 2016, putting more pressure on enterprise IT budgets.
