Vox Mobile and AirWatch Partner with Telus for 'MDM Made Easy' [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Canada's Telus has launched a new mobile offering designed to provide businesses with a richer user experience while simplifying and securing the management of mobile networks. Telus "MDM Made Easy" leverages technology and services from AirWatch by VMware and Vox Mobile for a new turn-key mobile device management (MDM) solution that allows businesses to manage their smartphones and tablets through a cloud-based portal. According to a release from Vox Mobile, Telus MDM Made Easy allows businesses to deploy a feature-rich MDM solution without investing in infrastructure. This cloud-based solution eliminates the need for on-premise hardware, while pre-configured user profiles simplify enrolling, configuring and updating devices - freeing up a company's IT resources and expertise to focus on their core business, the Company said.
