Molex Introduces Brad® HarshIO IP67 Digital Compact Ethernet Module at IANA 2014LISLE, Ill. --(Business Wire)-- Molex Incorporated plans to showcase its new Brad® HarshIO IP67 Compact Ethernet Modules at the 2014 Industrial Automation North America (IANA) Global Automation and Manufacturing Summit, September 8 - 13, McCormick Place, Chicago, IL. The Brad HarshIO IP67 digital compact 30mm (M8) module for Ethernet will be displayed at Molex (News - Alert) booth E-4915. Brad HarshIO IP67 Ethernet Modules are a reliable, machine-mountable solution for connecting industrial controllers to I/O devices in harsh-duty environments. Narrow 30mm housings are well suited to compact machines where space is limited. The eight I/O ports can be individually configured as inputs or outputs, with M8 connectors that are ideal for attaching sensing devices or actuators. This enables machine designers and installers to connect a single digital signal per port and maintain a high density of I/O points using the minimum amount of space while eliminating wiring errors and providing faster installation times. Featuring an IP67-rated housing to resist dust, liquid and vibration, on-machine ounting of the Brad HarshIO IP67 Compact Ethernet Module eliminates the need for a protective cabinet. The daisy-chain wiring topology and integrated 2-port switch with 100 Mbps full duplex data transmission enables an application to be wired entirely without switches at a lower cost. Supporting PROFINET 'Simple Device Replacement' the patented Ultra-Lock® push-to-lock connection system allows fast, safe, operator independent IP67-sealed connection of cordsets.
