Panasonic unveils latest products and technologies at show [Khaleej Times (United Arab Emirates)]


(Khaleej Times (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) At the show, Panasonic announced the new ultra-large X940 series, which boasts an 85-inch screen and an exceptionally fast panel for stunning 4K images.

Dubai: Under the theme of — A better life, a better world, the Panasonic has launched new experiences and value-added products and services, from digital AV equipment and home appliances to solutions for businesses at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin 2014, known as IFA.



"IFA is one of the key global convergence points for the world's consumer electronics industry. This international event presents the latest products and creates an ideal platform for visitors from all over the world to witness the latest innovations," Anthony Peter, director, corporate communications, Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa, said in a statement.

At the show, Panasonic announced the new ultra-large X940 series, which boasts an 85-inch screen and an exceptionally fast panel for stunning 4K images. The new European Viera 4K Ultra HD (UHD) model combines its large screen size with supreme motion picture quality, cutting-edge design and intuitive features to provide incredible home entertainment experiences. "Visitors to our booth will have the opportunity to view the line-up of our new products and best in class innovative technologies including 4K solutions for consumer and professional applications, temperature controlled cooking appliances, nanoe technology empowered beauty care solutions and much more," Peter said.


Panasonic also launched the HC-X1000, its first prosumer camcorder capable of recording 4K 60p/50p video images on an SD card. Featuring a Leica Dicomar Lens alongside a new BSI Sensor, and Crystal Engine Pro 4K, the HC-X1000 produces stunning, lifelike images in Ultra HD 4K resolution.

Under white goods category, Panasonic announced the addition of two new models to its washing machine range, both of which draw on Panasonic's extensive experience with sensor technology. The additions — the Inverter models NA-148XS1 and NA-148XR1 — incorporate Panasonic's 'ECONAVI' sensor technology, enabling easy-to-operate laundry care with a new 'AutoCare' automatic washing programme that is tailored to the unique requirements of each load.

Panasonic announced online streaming services Aupeo!, Napster, Spotify and TuneIn, and their associated original apps, are all compatible with its new European range of multi-room speaker systems, the ALL series, opening up a world of music.

Panasonic presents sophisticated lifestyles of the near future, taking full advantage of the company's diverse range of products. In the centre of the 3,300 sq m booth will be a living space with a variety of home appliances blended well into the surroundings. Through demonstrations, Panasonic will propose new benefits that home electronics and household appliances can create in daily living spaces, including kitchen and living room.
