Eran Pilovsky is now Splice Machine's Chief Financial Officer, after supporting the Company since its initial funding in 2012. Krishnan Parasuraman joins Splice Machine as Vice President of Business Development, coming from IBM where he served as a Big Data sales leader. Eran and Krishnan are joining Splice Machine's executive team as the Company experiences increased adoption of its Hadoop RDBMS.



Eran brings over 25 years of financial management experience to Splice Machine. Since 2008, Eran has been the CFO of growth-stage venture backed companies in the SaaS, digital media, and cloud/internet services spaces, including Metacafe, SugarSync, and Grand Junction. From 2000 until 2008, Eran was the CFO for private and public companies in the communications and enterprise software industries, including Roamware, Aperto Networks, Blue Martini Software, and Vyyo. Before 2000, Eran was a Partner with Ernst & Young in its audit practice.

Prior to IBM, he was the CTO of Digital Media at Netezza, where he lead technology strategy and go-to-market plans for High Tech and Digital Marketing business units, working with some of the largest marketing service providers and digital advertising networks in the world. Before Netezza, he ran the Information Management practice for Infosys Technologies and consulted on large-scale data warehousing, analytics and Big Data projects for Apple, Microsoft, Motorola, and many other Fortune 500 clients. Krishnan speaks regularly at industry events and is the author of the book, Harness the Power of Big Data.
