AFTER WIPRO, INFY SCREENS START UPS FOR PARTNERSHIPS, ACQUISITION(Indian Business Insight Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Infosys Limited of Bangalore, India's second largest information technology (IT) services provider, has screened a few start-ups for a likely investment or a partnership, just a few weeks after a team from Wipro met and evaluated 10 start- ups. Wipro of Bangalore is the country's third largest IT services provider. According to Infosys, a large venture capital firm showcased around seven start-ups to it a few weeks back and it has started the evaluation process. Infosys intends to see if it can work with start-ups, help them in scaling up and bundle some of their products into its own offerings. The company is also open for investing in such start-ups, wherever applicable. |
