United States : IBM adds POWER SYSTEMS LINUX services to its Innovation and Client Centers globally [TendersInfo (India)]


(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) In a order to allow clients to create big data and cloud applications using Linux on IBM Power Systems servers, IBM is adding Power Systems Linux services to its Innovation and Client Centers globally.



Among the new services is personal and online Linux training on programming, porting and the optimization of applications.

The use of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Canonical Ubuntu Server Linux technologies with Power Systems is covered by the services.


Clients can also receive personal guidance from Linux and IBM experts on the way to use the latter's Power8 parallel processing and virtualization.

IBM's business consulting experts and business partner will be there to advise and cooperate on jointly taking Power System and Linux based systems to market.
