Admissions to Master of Science/MPhil, Doctor of Philosophy open at University of Sindh - Press Release issued by University of Sindh(Pakistan News Releases Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) August 27, 2014 (PPI-OT) Following is the text of press release issued by University of Sindh Quote The University of Sindh has announced the admissions to MS/ MPhil and PhD for the academic session 2015 in different 50 departments. The admission forms can be obtained from September 1, 2014 which could be submitted by September 26. According to a statement issued here Wednesday, the list of eligible candidates will be posted on the website of the SU and notice boards of the related departments On October 10. Pre-Entry Test for admissions to MS/ MPhil and PhD will be conducted on October 19 (Sunday). The list of successful candidates will be displayed on December 23, 2014 whereas the classes for the new session will commence from January 5, 2015, the statement said. It may be noted that Sindh University is offering admissions to different 50 departments/ disciplines which include- Faculty of Arts: Department of Arabic, English Literature, Applied Linguistics, Sindhi and Urdu. Faculty of Social Sciences- Development Studies, Economics, Gender Studies, Media and Communication Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Pakistan Studies, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology and Social work. Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration: Commerce and Business administration.Faculty of Natural Sciences: Analytical Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Bio-informatics, Botany, Bio-technology, Chemical Sciences, Computer Science, Electronics, Environmental Sciences, Fresh Water Biology and Fisheries, Genetics, Geology, Information Technology, In-organic Chemistry, Mathematics, Micro-Biology, Nutrition and Food Technology, Organic Chemistry, Petroleum and Geo Sciences, Physiology, Physics, Physical Chemistry, Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Software Engineering, Statistics, Telecommunication and Zoology. Faculty of Pharmacy: Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology. Faculty of Education: Department of Education. Faculty of Islamic Studies: Islamic Culture and Muslim Studies. Furthermore, the statement added that the admission forms along with "Graduate Catalogue 2015" can be obtained from the designated branches of HBL Elsa Kazi Campus (Old Campus) Hyderabad and Allama I.I Kazi Campus Jamshoro 0n the payment of Rs. 1500. The form can also be downloaded from the Website of Sindh University www.usindh.edu.pk which can later be submitted after depositing the challan of Rs. 1500 in the above-mentioned branches of the bank.
