UC Berkeley Extension Invites Public to Free Lectures and Events

UC Berkeley Extension announces its fall 2014 event lineup, featuring topics ranging from health care to volunteering to interior design. All events are free and open to the general public. UC Berkeley Extension presents these events each year as part of its mission to bring the educational excellence of the University of California, Berkeley, to the Bay Area community.

The Affordable Care Act: Access and Consumer Issues
Learn what the Affordable Care Act accomplished in California, what progress has been made under Covered California and what access and consumer issues lie ahead.

LASER: Leonardo Art Science Evening Rendezvous
The LASER series, chaired by cultural historian Piero Scaruffi, features forward thinkers discussing projects that expand existing art and science paradigms.
