Information Technology Authority logs on to Dhofar [Times of Oman](Times of Oman Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Salalah: The National Digital Certification Centre is participating in this year's Salalah Tourism Festival 2014, making its first public presence felt in Dhofar. Owned by the Information Technology Authority (ITA), the Centre promotes its Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) by explaining the essence of this technology, its benefits, security aspects and future rewards. Launched in December 2013, the PKI comes in line with the ongoing eGovernment Transformation Plan in order to create a solid foundation for electronic authentication services as well as eSignature to complete eServices in a safe, secure and trustworthy manner.
