(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Digicel Fiji has made an announcement on Thursday on its introduction of high speed 4G network, facilitating its subscribers in specific areas having coverage enjoy topnotch internet speed irrespective of their locations either at home, or work place and also on the move.



The CEO of Digicel Fiji - Darren McLean has stated that the launch of superfast 4G service is the key stone of the ongoing $70 million worth of investment scheme of Digicel intended at expanding and upgrading the superfast data network of the company.

Since the commencement in 2008, the latest investment scheme represents the largest for the telecom operator, added the Digicel Fiji boss.


McLean has further said that the high speed data network will be initially available to the customers in the greater Suva area, Nadi together with Denarau Island and the wider Lautoka area.

He has added that the company will maintain the launch on the operational network to deliver 3G+ coverage across the country.

McLean has also stated that they have been excited seeing the encouraging feedback from the users.

He has further said that today they have made the move only, but will make major declarations related to partnerships and propositions in the upcoming months.
