Better Check the Return Policy, Gannett -- CarLister.co Launches to Deliver the Mobile Car Buying and Selling Experience That Cars.com Doesn't

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) NAPLES, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 08/08/14 -- Today, DreamWare launches CarLister.co, the first and only automated listing Web application that lets users list and shop for cars from any smartphone, tablet or desktop browser. The launch comes during the same week Gannett announced that it will buy the remaining 73 percent of Cars.com, which was developed in 1998, for $1.8 Billion. Unlike Cars.com, Car Lister offers the ability to list a car from a mobile phone, generate a window sticker in PDF format, even the opportunity to have direct connection of the parties via FaceTime, all in its standard package.

Car Lister is DreamWare's first stand-alone application. DreamWare's first Web app, World Lister, runs on eBay's platform. DreamWare is advancing into the eCommerce mobile world, featuring accelerated technologies, and over 150 lister.co domains to compete with Alibaba, eBay and Amazon.

Listing and selling a car, or large inventories of cars, using Car Lister is as easy as entering the vehicle's VIN number manually or taking a photo of the VIN and answering a few questions tailored to that vehicle's make, model and included features. Car Lister shortens the listing process keeping it simple, efficient and comprehensive.

A few taps and the listing is almost complete. Users can enhance their listing by capturing and uploading up to 30 images. Up to five personalized or existing YouTube videos can be added to a mobile listing offering visually descriptive depth.

Car Lister will also allow sellers to market their cars directly to dealers to solicit a buyout offer or a trade-in value.

Car Lister, using advanced patent pending technology, automatically generates a title, full description, and includes all vehicle information and options. The user still has the capability to edit all auto-generated text before posting the listing.

The first 8,888 listings on Car Lister will be free to post. As an added benefit for early users, it will also include an accident report -- an additional savings of up to $35. After the first 8,888 listings, Car Lister's "premium package" will be only $14.44. Car Lister includes more features at a lower price than any other premium car listing package, such as 30 images, videos, FaceTime, accident report, and a printable window sticker.

"We are very proud of Car Lister and how effective, fast, intuitive and easy it is to use. Even first-time sellers can have a professional listing with little effort. Car Lister delivers mobile functionality and the 'make it easy' world to car sales." Car Lister includes FaceTime capability to provide an option for the buyer and seller to connect real time. Buyers don't have to travel for hours to simply hear the engine run, and get a feel for the seller's trustworthiness. FaceTime will be beneficial to dealers when buyers call about a vehicle and the dealer can offer alternative cars on the same call.

Car Lister's unique features: Responsive design for full-featured mobile accessibility Fully automated, patent-pending listing process with unparalleled degree of accuracy No typing required Accident report and fuel efficiency are automatically injected into each listing "My Garage" page shows the user's personal Car Lister activity YouTube videos option included for every listing Up to 30 images per listing FaceTime communication feature between sellers and buyers using Apple devices Search capability by zip code with Google maps Saved "Watch List" that lets buyers track and compare listings by price, mileage, or year Full editing capability of all attributes before the listing goes "live" Custom settings of financial terms and regulations available for each seller Ability to save in-progress or future listings in "drafts" Buyers can request an offer from a dealer to eliminate the selling process altogether About DreamWare Inc.DreamWare, based in Naples, Florida, is the parent company of World Lister.
