Goodwin Procter Selected as a "Best Law Firm For Women" by Working Mother for Fifth Year in a Row

Goodwin Procter, a national Am Law 50 firm, has been named as a "Best Law Firm for Women" by Working Mother magazine and Flex-Time Lawyers for the fifth consecutive year. The annual report, featured in the August/September issue of the magazine, recognizes 50 law firms from across the nation whose family-friendly policies and business development initiatives are retaining and advancing female attorneys.

Goodwin actively supports the development and retention of its attorneys through a number of efforts, including its firm-sponsored Women's Initiativ, which maximizes networking and career opportunities for women at the firm. The Initiative provides mentorship and sponsorship opportunities and focuses on programming and support in areas including professional development, training, career growth, business development and work/life balance.

The 50 winning firms were selected based on workforce profile, family-friendly benefits and policies, flexibility, leadership, compensation, and advancement and retention of women, among other factors.
