United States : Five IT Channel Leaders Join CompTIA Partner Advisory Council [TendersInfo (India)]


(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) CompTIA, the IT Industry Trade Association, said today executives from five leading companies in the information technology (IT) channel have been named to its Partner Advisory Council.

The council is an invitation-only group that provides CompTIA with strategic, near-term insight on issues and trends affecting the IT channel. It serves as a strategic think-tank, presenting ideas and initiatives to the association s staff with the intent of improving and growing business for the industry as a whole.



Joining the CompTIA Partner Advisory Council are: Bill Barry, senior vice president, Infrastructure Solutions Group, CompuCom Systems, a leading technology infrastructure services company; Mariano Dy-Liacco, vice president, services, Insight Enterprises, Inc., a global provider of IT hardware, software and service solutions to business and public sector organizations; Kevin Garrett, vice president, field services and operations, Pomeroy, a global leader in managed IT infrastructure services; Stephanie Martin, chief executive officer, Exigo Group, a provider of customized sales, marketing, technology/system integration and deployment solutions and services; and Rich Schofield, director, business development, Dimension Data, an ICT services and solutions provider.

Continuing in their roles as co-chairs of the CompTIA Partner Advisory Council are Paul Cronin, senior vice president, Atrion Networking Corporation, an IT services provider; and Bruce Enright, chief executive officer, Tallgrass Technologies, one of the largest IT consulting firms in the Midwest. Lester Keizer, chief executive officer of Business Continuity Technologies, a holistic technology company focused on the integration of managed services with progressive digital services, is vice chair of the council.


Our Partner Advisory Council is made up of a diverse group of executives, each with his or her own expertise, knowledge and perspective on the challenges and issues facing the IT channel, said Annette Taber, vice president, channel strategies, CompTIA. This level of diversity assures that the recommendations and solutions the council proposes will be relevant for all channel companies vendors, distributors and solution providers alike.
