Truven Health Analytics Awarded Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services' RMADA ContractANN ARBOR, Mich. --(Business Wire)-- Truven Health Analytics announced today that it has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on its five-year, $7 billion Research, Measurement, Assessment, Design and Analysis (RMADA) procurement program. "The demands of new reforms created under ACA have redefined the way CMS approaches and conducts research activities and demonstrations affecting Medicare, Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and uninsured populations," the RMADA request for proposals said. "The role of state and private sector payers is also redefined as many of the new models include multiple payers working in collaboration with CMS to reform the care delivery system. The RMADA will provide CMS with a robust tool to meet those challenges."
