TIGO Ghana gets new Executive Officers [Ghana News Agency]


(Ghana News Agency Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Accra, July 31, GNA – Tigo Ghana, has appointed Mr Jesse Agyepong, as Head of Marketing and Ms Elizabeth Arhin, as Head of Human Resources with a new mandate to develop and implement transformational marketing strategy to enhanced brand, customer and revenue market share.



Mr Roshi Motman, Chief Executive Officer of TIGO Ghana, described the new appointees as an excellent addition to the Ghana team, as it embarks on a new journey to drive innovation, revenue market share and customer experience.      He said the two will play a central role in developing TIGO employees, and champion the market innovation activities as it seeks to expand its network infrastructure and capacity across the country.

A profile of  Mr Agyepong made available to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Thursday, indicated that he has  11 years of experience, working as a marketing professional, driving revenue growth for telecommunications, electronics and event management companies.


Mr Agyepong's professional career has seen him work in some middle to senior level positions, including Head of SME Business; Head of Enterprise services and Head of customer acquisitions.

He joined Tigo from Vodafone Ghana where he worked as the Head of Consumer Marketing, with the responsibility of developing and managing the Customer acquisition roadmap, Data and VAS portfolios.

Prior to Vodafone, Mr Agyepong also worked for other Blue Chip companies including Philips (West-Africa), Airtel Ghana, Diageo (GGBL) and Charterhouse Ghana.

Ms Arhin's profile indicates that she has a wealth of experience in performance management, talent development, resourcing and employee engagement gathered from over 20 years of experience in both Ghana and the United Kingdom.

She also worked with G4S Security Services, an international security company, as the Human Resource Director.

Prior to that, she worked in similar roles with Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited and British American Tobacco. In the UK, she worked with the London Borough of Croydon, Reynolds Porter Chamberlain, and the British Broadcasting Corporation.

She holds a double Masters degree in Manpower Studies from the University of Westminster, UK and in Ministry from the Trinity Theological Seminary, Ghana.
