Intellicheck Mobilisa Wins Contract to Provide TWIC Readers to Holt Logistics' Gloucester Terminals in Gloucester City, New Jersey

PORT TOWNSEND, Wash. --(Business Wire)--

Intellicheck Mobilisa, Inc. (NYSE MKT:IDN), a global leader in identity solutions and wireless security systems, has been awarded a contract to provide TWIC Plus IM2610 identification card readers to Holt Logistics, operator of Gloucester Terminals LLC in Gloucester City, New Jersey.

In addition to the TWIC readers, which authenticate TWIC cards and driver's licenses, the contract includes an onsite server with Visitor Registration modules at various locations that will register vendor and visitor TWIC cards and driver's licenses. This provides an added layer of security to terminal operations and helps keep track of pedestrian and vehicle traffic entering the facility. The Visitor Registration module operates from a centralized management system that can generate multiple reports, including visitor logs for any desired time period, as well as the ability to issue printed visitor badges and vehicle passes. Badges can be printed right at the guard station.

Installation is expected to be completed by July 31st.

Dr. Nelson Ludlow, CEO of Intellicheck Mobilisa, said, "Holt Logistics manages some of the most efficient port, warehouse and logistics facilities in the country, in order to deliver a rapid transfer of cargo. Its Gloucester Terminals facility has the largest refrigerated capacity of any terminal in the United States. We are grateful that Holt Logistics has chosen our TWIC readers to serve as an addd layer of protection to the security at this facility, one of the busiest and most important in the nation."

Kimberly Chochon, Vice President of Port Security Sales at Intellicheck Mobilisa, added, "As with our previously announced contracts involving TWIC readers, we expect our new agreement with Holt Logistics will further demonstrate the effectiveness of our readers in securing America's terminals and other similar facilities."

TWIC is an initiative of the TSA and U.S. Coast Guard to provide tamper-resistant biometric identification cards to port facility workers. The U.S. government has given guidance through the Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) that approximately 550 locations are expected to require QTL-approved TWIC readers and approximately 1,500 locations are on the "recommended" list for QTL-approved TWIC readers.
