Annapolis launches park finder Web application [Capital (Annapolis, MD)](Capital (Annapolis, MD) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ANNAPOLIS -- Navigating Annapolis' many parks and recreational facilities just got as easy as pointing and clicking. The city on Friday announced the launch of its Park & Recreation Finder Web application. The interactive website allows users to locate nearby parks and recreation facilities while researching the amenities of each. "The parks finder website allows Annapolis residents and visitors alike to create fun adventures and make new memories while enjoying the offerings of our town," said Andy Costello, chief of the city's Parks and Facilities Division. With global positioning-enabled devices, the app's search function can identify parks within a half-mile of addresses that are typed in. The app can be found at gispub.annapolis.gov/parkfinder/.
