Nelson Levine Appoints Kevin Toth as EVP, President, Chief Operations & Strategic Officer [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Nelson Levine recently reported that it has appointed Kevin Toth as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations & Strategic Officer. In its release on July 21, the firm said that in this position, Toth will play an integral role in guiding its strategic direction and growth as well as overseeing day-to-day global business operations. The firm noted that Toth will work in unison with Nelson Levine's Managing Partner, David L. Brown, who will continue to manage the firm's attorneys and their legal work. Toth will work out of Nelson Levine's Philadelphia and New York offices. In addition to his management responsibilities, Toth will represent clients in regulatory matters and institutional business practices. Most recently, Toth was named to serve as the senior operating executive for Harleysville Insurance following the retirement of President and COO, Michael Browne. Prior to his career in the insurance industry, Toth was a financial services litigation attorney at Reed Smith.
