(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) McLean, VA, US and Stevenage, UK (PRWEB) July 28, 2014 Concept Searching, the global leader in semantic metadata generation, auto-classification, and taxonomy management software, and developer of the Smart Content Framework, is pleased to announce that its products have been approved by the Canadian Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) to participate in the Software Licensing Supply Arrangement (SLSA), and is now on the List of Qualified Suppliers.

This recognition represents Concept Searching's stability in the marketplace and its proven software solutions for semantic metadata generation, auto-classification, and taxonomy management. In addition, Concept Searching products and services are already approved for purchase under the US GSA schedule and the company has received an enterprise-wide cross-Domain Certificate of Networthiness (CON), authorized by the US Army, and an enterprise-wide cross-domain Certificate of Authorization (COA), authorized by the US Air Force.

As of January 1, 2012, the Canadian government put in place a new, comprehensive approach for the procurement of all software products – software and shared systems and procurement directorate's new method of supply, the Software Licensing Supply Arrangement (SLSA). The SLSA is managed by the Canadian Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). The SLSA officially replaced the software departmental individual standing offers. The period of Supply Arrangement is February 29, 2012 through to and including December 31, 2014. There is no minimum or maximum dollar amount attached to the Supply Arrangement.

Concept Searching's products are managed by the federal procurement partner Advanced Chippewa Technologies Inc. (ACT Inc.). ACT is an IT provider with a core capability around networking and performance testing. Based in Ottawa, it represents prime OEM companies, in areas such as WAN testing, routers, and switches, in their dealings with the federal government by offering local presence, technical expertise, and strong relationships across multiple departments.

"Our Canadian client base is growing quickly. Acceptance into this program will assist many of our government prospects in facilitating the purchasing process for our software," said Martin Garland, President of Concept Searching.
