Commerce declares dividends [St. Joseph News-Press (MO)](St. Joseph News-Press (MO) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Commerce Bancshares Inc., announced Friday that its board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.225 per share on its common stock, payable Sept. 25, to stockholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 5. Also Friday, the board approved a dividend of $0.30 per depositary share on the company's Series B non-cumulative perpetual preferred stock, payable Sept. 2, to stockholders of record at the close of business on Aug. 15.
