RedPoint Global Expands in Asia-Pacific [Professional Services Close - Up]

According to a release from the Company, software sales veteran Patrick McHugh joined RedPoint Global as its chief sales officer, reporting directly to the CEO. The company also announced Alex Berton as vice president of sales for Asia-Pacific. Later this month, RedPoint will kick-off its Australia-based sales and marketing initiative at the ADMA Global Forum, Asia-Pacific's largest data-driven marketing, media and advertising event.



Patrick McHugh has 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development for technology companies. Prior to RedPoint, McHugh held high-level roles at software companies including Neolane (now Adobe Campaign), Authentica (acquired by EMC) and Vodafone - Quickcomm (acquired by Vodafone/Verizon Wireless). As Chief Sales Officer at RedPoint, McHugh is responsible for spearheading the expansion of sales operations in existing markets and establishing sales capabilities in new markets. Additionally, McHugh will oversee the building, management and optimization of RedPoint's global channel strategies to build stronger relationships with customers and partners.

To manage its growing APAC presence, RedPoint Global appointed Alex Berton as vice president of sales for Asia-Pacific. Berton brings 16 years of sales experience in integrated marketing management and customer relationship management to the company. Previously, Berton held leadership positions at SAS, Chordiant (acquired by Pegasystems) and Oracle. In his new role, Berton will be responsible for managing direct and channel sales, and for strategic development initiatives in the APAC region. He will be based in the company's Melbourne, Australia office.
