Software AG Participates in Forrester Research Report 'The Forrester Wave: Big Data Streaming Analytics Platforms, Q3 2014' [Health & Beauty Close - Up]


(Health & Beauty Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Software AG said that it was among the select companies that Forrester Research, a independent research firm, invited to participate in its report, "The Forrester Wave: Big Data Streaming Analytics Platforms, Q3 20141." In its release, Software AG said that in this evaluation, the Company received top scores in the Current Offering and Strategy Categories, and among the highest scores in the Market Presence Category.



Software AG said its Apama Complex Event Processing platform, part of the company's Intelligent Business Operations (IBO) offering, was evaluated.

Citing Software AG as a company with a "...vision (that) puts real-time customer experience first," Forrester highlighted several features that placed Software AG in the Streaming Analytics Leader category, including: -Stream Processing - "Software AG IBO provides comprehensive streaming operators. Filtering, aggregation, location-based, time windows, temporal patterns, query enrichment, action interfaces, and dynamic operators." -Visualization tools - "Software AG IBO provides a rich Web- based UI framework that enables the building of direct client UIs and the binding (mashup) of separate data sources that can be merged, analyzed and then mapped to a flexible set of real-time visualization." -Data sources - "Software AG IBO supports more than 100 input/ output protocol and industry data adapters. Software AG provides a developer toolkit to build customer adapters."
