JSCAPE Announces MFT Gateway 3.0 New Release

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Eugene, OR (PRWEB) July 22, 2014 JSCAPE, worldwide provider of networking solutions and managed file transfer (MFT) software, announced the release of JSCAPE MFT Gateway 3.0.

The company describes the new release as a huge upgrade from previous incarnations, adding several improvements including support for additional protocols and HTTP/HTTPS content caching.

Further improvements include upgrades to the clusters module in the Gateway Server, a module used to load balance network traffic and to support important network services. Algorithms have been added to further enhance load balancing, as well as health monitoring capabilities. These advancements help high-availability networks stay flexible and reliable.

JSCAPE MFT Gateway 3.0 also provides the ability to reverse proxy internal network services (smoothing data exchange amid various firewall rules and compliance regulations). A new Gateway Agent component also provides additional security by establishing a secure tunnel between internal network services and the JSCAPE MFT Gateway Server -- all without opening any inbound ports.

Gateway 3.0 builds upon an existing tradition of versatility. Since the Gateway is a "software only" solution, it can stream nearly any network service. Installers are available for Windows, UNIX, Linux, Mac OS X, and Solaris, making it useful to a huge swath of businesses. The Gateway is also critical to meeting many compliance requirements of government agencies (including GLBA, PCI, and HIPAA).

"This latest release of MFT Gateway is truly unique in the market, delivering enterprise class performance, reliability, and flexibility. Unlike competitors, the open architecture of MFT Gateway allows it to communicate with virtually any network service, regardless of vendor," said Van Glass, Product Manager for MFT Gateway.

JSCAPE maintains offices in both Oregon and Florida, and provides MFT software and solutions for networking and easy file transfers to government agencies and business in over 54 countries. Since 1999, they've tackled complex file transfer problems and come up with simple solutions, applicable to a variety of situations and customers, regardless of platform, IT experience, or overall goals, as encapsulated in their motto, "File Transfer Made Easy."
