Appoints Piyush Jain as VP of Engineering [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Centage Corp. reported that Piyush Jain has joined the company as Vice President of Engineering. According to a company release, most recently a Development Executive at IBM, Jain brings more than two decades of budgeting, forecasting, and business intelligence commercial software development expertise to Centage. He will leverage that experience to drive new product advances and set future direction for the Budget Maestro product suite. "Piyush is a software development leader with a proven track record of managing flagship product lines and introducing game- changing products and functionality," said Barry Clapp, President & COO of Centage Corp. "With extensive knowledge of financial systems for planning, analysis, and reporting, he will help build products to support our mission of providing financial and operations professionals with insight and visibility into the information and key factors that drive their business." Jain was most recently a Development Executive in IBM's Business Analytics division where he led various development organizations in the creation of enterprise-scale analytics products including financial planning applications, real-time OLAP databases, and Big Data access systems.
