Google Tops June U.S. Search Engine Rankings(dpa-AFX International Compact Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MOUNTAIN VIEW (dpa-AFX) - comScore, Inc. (SCOR) said Monday that Google Inc. (GOOG, GOOGL) sites led the U.S. explicit core search market in June with 67.6% market share, followed by Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) sites with 19.2% and Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) sites with 9.8%. While Google's market share remained steady that of the previous month, Microsoft's market share grew 0.4 percentage points and Yahoo's market share declined 0.2 percentage points from last month. 17.8 billion explicit core searches were conducted in June, with Google sites ranking first with 12.1 billion.
