Russian Federation : VIMPELCOM announces completion of network upgrades in St Petersburg Metro Stations [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Vimpelcom, Russian mobile operator, working under the Beeline brand, announced that it has finished the advancing of its network in 12 St Petersburg Metro stations. In these stations, the firm commenced the 3G, increasing the total of metro stations covered by the network to 17. In June, through utilization of DC HSPA+ supporting equipment from Huawei', network upgrade project was commenced.
