Sotera Defense Solutions Receives $87M Task Order for U.S. Army Software Engineering Support [Travel & Leisure Close - Up]


(Travel & Leisure Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sotera Defense Solutions was recently awarded an $87 million task order for the U.S. Army Software Engineering Center Worldwide Intel Systems Field Software Engineering Support.

According to a media release, under the new task order, Sotera's team will provide integration, sustainment and training services for the Army worldwide for garrison, exercise, combat operations and contingencies to the users of fixed and tactical intelligence systems.



Deb Alderson, President & CEO of Sotera, commented on the award, "As a mission partner for the U.S. Army, Sotera is honored to support critical national security operations by delivering services and solutions to enable the warfighter to achieve success in even the most challenging environments." The two-year task order was issued under the Software and Systems Engineering Services Next Generation Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract.

SSES NexGen is an IDIQ contract vehicle through which CECOM will procure engineering and scientific support services for the CECOM Command Life Cycle Management Command SEC located at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Maryland. The SEC provides life cycle software solutions and services that enable warfighting superiority and information dominance across the enterprise.
