Board of Directors of PAMR Meets [Oman News Agency](Oman News Agency Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Muscat, July 17 (ONA) ----The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Manpower Register (PAMR) today held its second meeting of the year, headed by Mohsen al- Balushi, Adviser at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PAMR. The meeting reviewed the data of jobseekers until the end of June this year, the problems behind absorbing job-seekers holding university qualifications, in particular holders of some disciplines that are less demanded by the labour market and how to address these problems. The meeting addressed the steps taken so far to implement the automated link project which will hopefully, when completed, contribute to the accuracy of the data of the labour force, including the jobseeker data. The meeting also discussed PAMR general policy and the provision of electronic services to the beneficiaries of PAMR services, whether they are jobseekers, employees or employers as soon as possible. ---Ends/MN/FS (c) 2014 (C) .
