Driver License Identification Card Production System [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Pre-qualificatios are invited for RFI - Driver License Identification Card Production System. Michigan Department of State (MDOS) in development of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for implementation of a driver license and identification card (DL/ID) system that integrates with the MDOS system. Vendors are asked to provide complete information on equipment, software, and services needed to implement a system that includes some, or all, of the following deliverables: 1. Secure production and mailing of DL/ID cards that comply with the minimum requirements of the most recent Personal Identification-American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) International Specifications-DL/ID Card Design standard. DL/ID card production requires integration with the MDOS system for sending/receiving card detail information. 2. Digital photographic image capture hardware, including maintenance and service of hardware. 3. Digital photographic image capture software, including maintenance and support of software. The MDOS system will assume responsibility for: Signature capture. Storage (process and infrastructure) of digital photographic and signature images. Providing an application that allows retrieval of images by law enforcement. Transferring signatures to the State s Qualified Voter File. Production of temporary driver s licenses and identification cards. Responses to this RFI should follow the outline below. Responses may be supplemented with descriptive literature and include innovative suggestions and industry best practices to improve upon the functionality reflected below. 1. Company Information: a. Approach for meeting facility security and inventory/material control standards required by: Most recent AAMVA standards. WHTI and REAL ID. c. List of any current security audits or certifications. 3. Card Construction a. Overview of physical card, including material, construction, printing method, expected durable life, photo type (color or laser-engraved primary photo). b.
