Keynote Executive Team Appointments Further Strengthen Its Leadership Bench

SAN MATEO, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

Keynote, the global leader in mobile and web performance management and analytics, today announced the appointment of Adam Thier as executive vice president of engineering; Jonathan Rende as executive vice president of products and marketing; and Laura Malinasky, executive vice president and general counsel.

The appointment of these three leaders across engineering, products and marketing, and legal reflects Keynote's focus on driving growth and delivering unparalleled value and service to its expanding base of customers since going private in 2013.

"Keynote remains committed to speeding its delivery of innovative solutions that help customers meet the challenges brought upon by the incredible acceleration of change, increasing consumer expectations, and technical and commercial complexity that result from the shift to a mobile-first world," said Jennifer Tejada, chief executive officer at Keynote. "Adam, Jonathan and Laura's appointment well-positions Keynote to remain at the forefront of such disruptive markets. Collectively, they bring a unique blend of technical leadership, deep domain expertise, and commercial and legal experience all coming from market leading companies in the technology industry. While each are stand-out leaders in their own right, they complement each other and the balance of our already strong existing leadership team, positioning Keynote for long term success, through a more customer-centric approach in how we work directly with the market and behind the scenes as we extend our market leadership."

Adam Thier has been appointed executive vice president of engineering and is responsible for driving innovation, extending Keynote's analytics offering and improving usability of the company's leading solutions. Adam brings over 15 years of experience to Keynote, and was most recently senior vice president of development for SAP's (News - Alert) Frontline Applications organization. Adam has several patents assigned in his name, is a big data/analytics expert, and a strong proponent of customer co-innovation.

Jonathan Rende has been named executive vice president of products and marketing, and is responsible for leading a unified organization to develop Keynote's brand. With over 15 years of deep domain expertise in mobility, application performance and quality management, Jonathan will enhance the company's customer-centric approach to deliver solutions to market and sharpen the focus on mobile application performance monitoring (APM (News - Alert)). Jonathan was previously vice president of products at Appcelerator, an enterprise mobility platform leader, and was responsible for mobile development, testing, monitoring and analytics solutions. Prior to Appcelerator, he served as general manager and vice president of HP's billion-dollar software quality and performance management business as well as vice president of products at Mercury Interactive.

She is responsible for all legal and commercial contracting activities, governance and compliance, and human resources. Laura is focused on accelerating and simplifying Keynote's customer-facing commercial and legal processes, enabling an easy, seamless experience for customers as they engage with the company. With more than 17 years of experience in enterprise software and legal, Laura specializes in corporate, employment and M&A law and joins Keynote from TIBCO Software where she served as VP, Legal Affairs and has also held legal positions at Incyte Corp. and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
