Scherr had been with Informa, formerly Sparks Companies Inc., since 1987 and will continue to work with the Memphis-based company in an emeritus role. "I have been honored to lead this organization for many years and I am confident that Tom and the Informa team will build the business ever more so as they help global agriculture and food interests seize the unprecedented opportunities ahead and manage their related risks," Scherr said. Scott is a 25-year employee and has been president and chief operating officer for six years.
